FloodNET is a research project which aims to provide rapid, interactive, useful flood area mapping in support of flood mitigation.

FloodNET captures the results of a novel agent-based flood estimation technique developed in the Soils and Environmental Engineering Science lab at the University of Liverpool (SEESLiverpool). We aim to respond rapidly to flooding situations around the UK and the world, providing freely-available, scientifically-robust flood area maps to support property owners, the public, planners and emergency managers to mitigate the impacts and consequences of flooding.
