Year 4 of F103 (MChem) Chemistry for Sustainable Energy

SEMESTER 1

SEMESTER 2

CHEM480

(60 credits)

CHEM453 (7˝ credits)

CHEM442 (7˝ credits)

Three other C options

(total of 22˝ credits)

CHEM464 (7˝ credits)

CHEM482 (7˝ credits)

Another M option

(7˝ credits)

Important Notes:

  1. 7˝ credit C options: CHEM411, CHEM413, CHEM431, CHEM433, CHEM451 and CHEM453.
  2. You should not take CHEM433 without CHEM431. [A further 7˝ credit option in Semester 1 is ENGG413 (Formulation Engineering), typically instead of a Semester 2 option.]
  3. 7˝ credit M options: CHEM426, CHEM442, CHEM446, CHEM452, CHEM454, CHEM464, CHEM474, CHEM482, CHEM486 and CHEM496. It is possible, depending on factors such as the level of interest, that some of these options might not run in 201920.
  4. You should not take CHEM496 without CHEM433 and CHEM431. CHEM454 is not running in 201920. CHEM454 could be particularly suitable for students who enjoyed the Quantum Mechanics component of CHEM354 (but note that FZ61 and FZBF students do not take that component).
  5. You cannot normally join or leave a module after it has been taught for more than 2 weeks.
