General Information

You are strongly advised not to take CHEM433 without CHEM431.

You are strongly advised not to take CHEM496 without CHEM433 and CHEM431.

CHEM454 could be particularly suitable for students who enjoyed the Quantum Mechanics component of CHEM354 (but note that FZ61 and FZBF students do not take that component).

F102 Year 4 and FZ61 Year 4

You need to select 30 credits for Semester 1 from the available C options (7.5 credits each): CHEM411, CHEM413, CHEM431, CHEM433, CHEM451 and CHEM453. A further 7.5-credit option in Semester 1 is ENGG413 (Formulation Engineering), typically instead of a Semester 2 option.

  You need to select 30 credits for Semester 2 from the available M options (7.5 credits each): CHEM426, CHEM442, CHEM452, CHEM454, CHEM474, CHEM486, CHEM494 and CHEM496.

FZBF Year 4

You have no choices in Semester 1.

You need to select 15 credits for Semester 2 from the list of M options (7.5 credits each) that is available to F102 students. You must pick at least one that is clearly ‘organic’.
