Important Notes:

1. The 7½ credit options available to Year 3 F102 MChem students in session 2019-20 are CHEM338, CHEM342, CHEM382, CHEM384 and CHEM396. [An additional option is the level ‘M’ module CHEM452 (7½ credits), which is also available to Year 4 F102 students and has a higher pass mark (50%)]
2. The 7½ credit options available to Final Year BSc students in session 2019-20 are CHEM248, CHEM284, CHEM286 (limited numbers, clashes with CHEM384), CHEM316, CHEM338, CHEM342, CHEM382, CHEM384 and CHEM396. Students who still have the option of CHEM284 should not normally choose CHEM384 without also selecting CHEM284. Note: CHEM284 is not available to FZB2 students because of a clash with LIFE206.
3. Students returning from CHEM309 drop CHEM365 or CHEM375 (as appropriate) in favour of CHEM395 (15 credits) and drop two optional modules in Semester 2.
4. Year 3 FZ61 MChem students take the CHEM340 ‘distance learning’ module.
5. You cannot normally join or leave a module after it has been taught for more than 2 weeks.
