F100 Year 3 and FZ11 Year 4
You need to select 22.5 credits for Semester 2. Most students are likely to choose three modules from CHEM226 (not available to students who have already taken CHEM227), CHEM248, CHEM284, CHEM316, CHEM338, CHEM384 and CHEM396 (7.5 credits each). If you have studied Physics to A level standard (or equivalent) you might enjoy CHEM326 (15 credits) instead of two of the 7.5 credit modules – CHEM326 should not be taken by students who have only studied Physics to GCSE standard.
F102 Year 3
You need to select 15 credits for Semester 2. Most students are likely to choose two modules from CHEM338, CHEM384 and CHEM396 (7.5 credits each).
If you
have studied Physics to A level standard (or equivalent) you might prefer
CHEM326 (15 credits). This module should not
be taken by students who have only studied Physics to GCSE standard.
[An additional
option for F102 Year 3 students is the level 7 FHEQ (aka ‘level M’)
module CHEM452 (7.5 credits). Note: (1) The pass mark for this module is 50%; (2) If you
take CHEM452 in Year 3 you will be reducing your choices in Year 4.]
FZB2 Year 3
You need
to select 7.5 credits for Semester 2. You should pick one module from CHEM226, CHEM284,
CHEM316, CHEM384 and CHEM396 (7.5 credits each). [Sorry: CHEM284 clashes this
year with pharmacology modules.]
FZBF Year 3, F1F3 Year 3, FZ11 Year 3 and FZ61 Year 3
